Wake up America!!...lol.I am in Australian time..... Between my last post and now ..I have been googgling...and found some lovely GMC's.....Boy if I was not already hooked I am now....still if you know of one, I should " have to Have" let me know.....I am so excited about traveling round USA...last time I was there ..I loved it. cheers Shaz

1977 GMC - less than 50K miles, less than 6300 US.

PPL is a reputable company - I would not hesitate to do a long distance transfer with them - they have been in the business for a long time -

Having said that, it's always "buyer beware".

PPL has a BUNCH of inventory on the lot right now.

I was all prepared to go to PPL., and yes, I did see the GMC...but after a lot of research we decided that the fully renovated ones we could not afford...and the unrenvoated even though they had low miles really may be a bit of dreaming, to expect it to go around America with out popping some old hoses now and then..lol

We went back to a newer airstream. Owners are lovely people and we pick it up september 10th..

thanks everyone for all your help ..We would have loved a GMC, or the older airstream.. but are really happy with our choice...

I know of a GMC for sale here in Alva Fl. I almost bought it a while ago but wound up passing on it. I saw it two days ago, next to another just like it. Details if you need then. Let me know . Good luck! Gon Mad
